ARMATURE Fabric: September 2021 Release Notes
Over the last few weeks we have been focused on introducing new features and developing additional performance enhancements. Please see below for a summary of the most recent developments. We hope some of these updates help support your organizational goals, better engage your stakeholders, and improve the way you work.
New Features
We have introduced several new features within the latest product release based on suggestions we have received from you and improvements that our product team has identified. These include:
- Org Rep>Equipment>Edit – introduced a new application setting to enable you to control editing functionality
- Child Organization Contacts – contacts can now be added to child organizations
- Org Rep>Contacts>Training Pathways – you can now search and list contact training pathways as a Trusted Contact
- Manage Application Settings – certain system settings can now be managed by end users who are designated as System Administrators (see below)
- Manage Communication Settings – certain settings can now be managed by end users with the appropriate permissions, including: allowed domains; return address; and, general CC/BCC addresses
- Certification Decision Data – data sources now include audit fields (“who” and “when”)
- Organization Listing – staff can now export the organization list results to a .csv file
Feature Enhancements and Performance Improvements
We have made numerous updates to multiple areas of ARMATURE Fabric that reflect recent common requests from our user community. These include:
- Person/Contact management usability improvements
- User Interface loading indicators have been updated for Org and People profile pages
- The following CXM User Interface improvements have been made:
- Consolidation of Contact Information (Addresses, Phones, Emails) into a single view (Org’s and People)
- Profile view widgets replaced with organized tab strips
- Updated Add/Updated Contact screen (see below):
- Organizations>Profile>Website – improved validation behaviors have been implemented to help with creating and updating details
- Person>Affiliations – we have introduced a consolidated view of Groups, Contact, and Liaison affiliations with search and filtering support
- Performance Improvements
- Improved performance of Instruments with many date-based questions
- Improved performance of Instruments when deleting documents
- Improved performance/experience of saving changes to Equipment
Key Bug Fixes
There are several bug fixes included in this release that have resulted in the following:
- Org Rep>Contacts – resolved permission issue with adding contacts/personnel
- Equipment>Approvals – resolved issue when saving equipment that does not require approval
- Applications>Creation – resolved issue where creating a new application sometimes failed
- Instrument Response>Assignees – resolved issue when saving assignments where empty assignee rows would fail
- Instrument Response>Document Upload Referencing – resolved an issue where documents uploaded to a question would not save their reference when navigating too quickly after upload
- People>Profile>Additional Data – resolved an issue when no attributes are configured
- Org>Contacts – resolved issue where new contacts did not appear until user refreshes a page
- Instruments Listing – resolved issue where listing would not load if the current user does not have a Person Profile linked to their account
- Instrument Response>Submission – resolved issue preventing some assignees from submitting a response
- Org Rep>Instrument Response>Assignees – resolved issue where a Trusted Contact could not save assignments for an Instrument Response
- Instrument Response>Boolean Choice Questions – resolved issue where question text would show HTML tags
