Over the last few months, we have developed some exciting new features and enhancements within ARMATURE Fabric that can bring additional value you and your team. Please see below for a summary of these key enhancements:
New Instrument Review
The new Instrument Review functionality allows you to better manage and visualize a simple or complex review cycle. Key features include the ability to:
- Configure a complex review cycle with workflow rules
- Manage reviews through ratings, comments, findings, and issue capture
- Allocate review assignments to individual reviewers or teams
- Control access to review information based on review cycle
- Enhance respondent and reviewer feedback loop by releasing Instrument responses back to your respondent along with questions and comments
- Track all review information and history in one place across responses, changes, and review cycles
Updated Instrument Builder
We have improved the Instrument Builder so you can create and edit an Instrument more easily and much faster. All options are now just a single click away.

Instruments
We have also enhanced the capability within Instruments itself. Key features include the ability to:
- Enable or disable specific features on Instrument responses, such as documents, comments, issues, flags, and ratings
- Access a new Instrument response landing page with consolidated response and review information for easier access
- Conduct enhanced Instrument & review searches using advanced term search
- More effectively use the “Instrument from standard” feature
Self-Start Process and Form
You can now allow organizational or individual Trusted Contacts to self-start predefined processes and forms in their “Org Representatives” or “My Items” dashboard respectively.
- Processes can be configured as “self-startable” o “Self-Start” options apply to all processes where the first step is not an Instrument Form o “Self-Start Form” options apply to all processes where the first step is an Instrument Form
- After the process is published, the configured self-start processes will now be available for trusted contacts under “Requests” in the dashboard. Users can also track the status of self-started processes here
- If the self-start process is associated to “People”, it will only show up under the “My Items” dashboard.

User Management
Provides new self-servicing capabilities for Trusted Contacts to better manage users and contacts:
- Create new user as trusted contact or not, as applicable
- Set up or remove trusted contact access for other users
- Create contact without user account
- Email validation prior to user account creation to avoid duplication
Standards
You can now specify a weight value for each criterion within the standards. This will allow you to create scoring logic that factors in the weight of criteria.
- Certification is now displayed alphanumerically based on certificate number in profile tab
- A sub-event (within an event) can now be associated within a process
Assignments
Staff users can now see the assignment of events for a specific person within a date range under their Profile>Assignment tab

To experience the full benefits of the ARMATURE Fabric platform, we recommend that you update your software at least quarterly. If you have specific requests, including training, or wish to see post-release updates, please contact your Project Manager or Customer Support or more details.
For customers on a quarterly upgrade plan, your Q3 2020 upgrade will include this release. Our Customer Support team will contact you in the near future regarding this upgrade.
