This update provides a summary of ARMATURE Fabric’s development in October and November. During these two months we completed four Sprints. Please see below for a summary of key bug fixes, software patches, and enhancements. 

 

To experience the full benefits of the ARMATURE Fabric platform, we recommend that our customers update their software at least quarterly. If you have specific requests or wish to see post-release updates, please contact your project/account manager for more details. 


October 

In the month of October, our team focused on making continuous improvements to our Translation and Multilingual functionalities, and our newly added Events functionality. These improvements were released across three version updates including:

October updates include the following additions / modifications: 

 

Translation & Multilingual Functionalities 

  • Added functionality to allow translation of extensions and extension attributes (including selection values). This includes (but is not limited to) translation of selection values such as phone, email, address, and contact types, as well as custom extensions to existing objects (e.g. attributes on applications, certifications, etc.). 
  • Added developer support to enable easier implementation of translatable values within custom widgets/projects by providing a pattern and component library to support language conversion (on named values and selections).

 

Events

  • Added support to allow external stakeholders to download resources (added through events or processes tied to events). 
  • Modified Schedule Items listing to view a subset of items (from a dashboard) with click through functionality to see all existing Instruments, Events, or Reviews. 
  • Changed dashboard-based event listing logic to remove items from the dashboard queue once the event end date has passed. 
  • Added initial support to track decision outcomes on Events (designed specifically for Standard Events which act as committee meetings). Allows customers to track all of the accreditation (and other) decisions that were captured in a meeting.

 

Instrument Responses 

  • Added the ability to flatten question and table question responses to a common format which may be exported to excel (csv).

 

Applications

  • Added functionality to Application widgets on the default “My Items” dashboard to limit items to 5 with click-through functionality to a full searchable listing of all available applications. 

 

Significant Issues Resolved  

1.0.19282.4 – released Oct. 9th, 2019

  • Resolved a condition where users were unable to search for and add existing documents in an Event created through a Process - FAB2-7154.
  • Added support to allow for longer domain extensions within email addresses - FAB2-7328.

 

1.0.19291.2 – released Oct 19th, 2019

  • Resolved an issue in Events where a person other than staff is unable to download documents - FAB27353.

 

1.0.19302.4 – released Oct 29th, 2019

  • Resolved an issue in Instruments to update the percent complete calculation to factor in dynamic rows with required fields when the "No Data" option is checked – FAB2-7343.
  • Resolved an issue in an Instrument Response where the “No Data” option doesn’t show up on repeatable forms – FAB2-7374. 
  • Resolved an issue with Microsoft’s Edge browser where users were unable to remove the last row in a repeatable table – FAB2-6876.



November

In the month of November, our team focused on making continuous improvements to our Events and My Items functionality and resolved a number of reported issues. These improvements were released in one version update:

November updates include the following additions/modifications: 

 

Events 

  • Added the ability to track participant invitation response dates.  
  • Added the ability to add extensions (user-defined attributes) to events.  
  • Added the ability to add extensions (user-defined attributes) to event participants.  
  • Added the ability to add an existing event to a Process stage. 
  • Added the ability to allow a staff user to record a decision/certification decision to an Organization, Program, or Person, that is tracked via a Standard Event (e.g. Committee Meeting). 
  • Added the ability to sort and move Organizations, Programs, and People within and between other events. 

 

Cohorts 

  • Added the ability to search, create, edit, and remove Cohorts (groups of Organizations, Programs, or People, that are managed centrally to ease access and reporting). 
  • Added the ability to manage Cohort participants (Organizations, Programs, People). 

 

My Items 

  • Added the ability for external stakeholders (from the OTB My Items dashboard) to access, view, and resolve issues from their dashboard. 
  • Added the ability for external stakeholders to view criteria references attached to issues. 
  • Restored “Risk Rating” field to issues.

 

Reporting 

  • Added the ability to reference Secondary Shaped Data Sources to allow users to report on deeply nested data structures. 

 

Significant Issues Resolved 

Version 1.0.19339.5 – released on December 6th, 2019 

  • Resolved issue where “Add Issue” button in Issues Listing did not respect permissions – FAB2 -7376. 
  • Resolved caching issue where personal information on “My Items” portal was not updating (due to optimistic caching) – FAB2-7433. 
  • Resolved issue that allowed users to un-submit and re-submit an Instrument Response after the close date had passed - FAB2-7439. 
  • Resolved issues in IE where Event>"Resources" and "Review items" options were cutting off – FAB27482.
