To navigate to the security menu, go to Setup > Security

Once you click on the Security widget, you’ll be taken to the Security dashboard, which looks like this:

You’ll see several tabs across the top of the screen. Here’s an overview of each menu item from left to right:

Security Users

ARMATURE Fabric grants everyone who is an intended user of the system a Security User account. You can add new Security User accounts and manage the association of each to Security Groups and Security Roles within this area.

Security Groups

Use Security Groups to grant security permissions at a group level. Security Groups are configured with security roles and the assigned security roles control the user permissions of all users within the Security Group.

Security Roles

Security Roles are sets of permissions that grant access to different functions in ARMATURE Fabric and/or ARMATURE Engauge. (Contact your account manager to discuss security roles for ARMATURE EnGauge, or to discuss migration options to ARMATURE Fabric’s Instruments functionality.) Security Roles determine the level of access and actions of users, teams, or groups within the system.

Groups

System administrators can set up groups to track things such as committee membership, as you can track a start and end date (and role) for members of your group.

Team Types

Use Team Types to define a team with specific security roles. When you’re ready to schedule an instrument (such as an onsite assessment), you will select the appropriate Team Type and map each of its security roles to an individual on the team.
